Birthday Planning?

Okay, I am going to have a birthday party for my fifteenth birthday and I was wondering if I should invite everyone from my cl or just the people that I am close with... I am worried that if I invite a couple of people the word will get around and people will feel left out. lol It's funny my mom said that I should invite everyone cuz then I will get more presents! :) any suggestions?
