Making my own powdered dishwasher detergent??

I used 3cups borax, 1 cup powdered detergent and 3 cups baking soda.. then checked the recipe and it calls for washing soda... can i use the recipe with the baking soda instead? also looking for easy recipes for homemade laundry soap?
