How do you protect young children from being macred to death by a wild boar?

This happened to my brother Fritz on a camping trip when he was only 8 years old. It is a common problem in the Swiss countryside. I am considering having a child with my husband to replace his daughter I lost at the Christmas Market. Do you have any safety advice to protect our possible future child?
