Why do people think this of me?

First of all im not snotty or snobbish or bragging about my parents' money. But people in my cles and outside of school think that just because im rich i should wear more expensive clothes and start driving a very expensive car already. Im 17 years old and i like my life the way i it is. Id rather wear laid back clothes that are soft to the touch than expensive designer stuff that ill be overly careful about damaging. Just to give some background my house is worth well into the millions. My parents own companies, land and ets in several countries. And i basically own a couple percent of one of the companies. And im not gonna relay how much im worth but its a lot. The thing is, i NEVER even told people this, idk how they even know. I think they just found out through seeing my house from far away, or because of random gossip and now everyone knows. I cant drive yet, i know thats sad seeing as im a high school student about to graduate but the thing is i just havent had the time yet, and ive been busy with stuff. So i mean what the hell is up with this place seriously?
