Should Yahoo have a "Rescuers" or an "Emergency Help Needed" category?
.....well ....that pretty much answers that question.....the answers did make a couple valid points...for instance....the answers may direct the "person in crisis" the wrong way...or a troll might push them over the edge.....it's like this......when people p you by and say..."How are you?".......they don't really want to know......just start telling them how you really are , some days , and watch them look at their watch, squirm , and have to head for their URGENT meeting....lol.........this is an entertainment format , and an escape for many people..... some people wouldn't piss on you , if you were on fire...that's OK...that's their perogative......for the rest of us...we do what we can.....wihtout being a "bleeding heart" liberal.......we have to remember . we can't save the world....but we can try to save our friends......I'm sure the insurance liablity would squash this idea....while pure in motivation...perhaps impractical in pratice......people are too litigious....the trolls would have a "heyday" with "Emergency Help Needed"...you are a good person and a rescuer , for sure...lol.....maybe the "posterchild'.....sorry , I have to do a "Simon Cowell" here ......you're not going to Hollywood with that one.......( YA does provide for e-mail access without giving up the privacy of the address)......running the risk of a security breach , my line is always open...I do understand why some poeple do not allow e-mails...this is a personal decision.....there are forums and groups out there .....I found a retired phsychologist while ago while digging around and read a few of his Q&As.....48% BA rate....nice guy.......he allows e-mails....he was actually in the contact network of our friend in need.......
