That is tragic and even though he was high on crack at the time I suspect he could have done this regardless. Drugs like that and others may well disinhibit someone, but the intenet to cause harm must have existed in the first place. I think even those considered 'psychotic' at the time of offence could have switched their off on since not everyone on drugs, drunk or mentally unstable comits atrocities so exclusively the drugs cannot be blamed. I think he will get the death sentance
