Why is US seems so defensive on national protection?

Why are we so big on National protection Your a effin idiot remember Sept 11 2001. Also i dont know if you noticed but the United States happens to be the biggest superpower in the world for a reason so we have to set the damn example. So would you like to speak Russian or Chinese or would you like to be in a non commie country eating cheeseburgers criticizing your country on our national protection which by the way keeps your damn *** safe
